About Kathy
We all suffer from time to time, and different stages of life bring their own distinct challenges. Maybe you’ve gone in search of relief by talking to a trusted friend, reading self-help books, scrolling through social media wellness accounts, or asking AI, but still can’t seem to get the clarity or healing you’re seeking.
Therapy can help us with something we find hard to do by ourselves: understand our own minds. The relationship between client and counsellor is a rare one where we don’t need to keep parts of ourselves hidden or pretend everything’s fine. When we shine a light on our scattered, private thoughts and feelings with a supportive, non-judgmental listener who is trained to help us work through our issues, we can often begin to notice longstanding beliefs and patterns, get curious about the role they play in our lives, and take steps towards gently shifting them according to our values and desired outcomes.
I aim to be that listener for you, honouring your unique story and helping you find your way forward. Whether you’re working through mental health concerns, looking to improve your relationships, or navigating a life transition, we will work together to explore your challenges and strengths, create a plan tailored to your needs and goals, and support you to find the clarity, relief, and healing that feel out of reach at the moment.
